Welcome to informal-swindon it’s a site with photos from in and around Swindon taken by myself and some by my wife Rita with digital cameras. A few are scanned as they were taken years ago on film and I have added some more galleries. I have never been a serious photographer more of a happy snapper as I am into DIY, did Banger Racing for 5 years and then restored a MGC sports car (3 years), competed in Classic Car Concourse (16 years), Was Season ticket Swindon Town FC (53 years).
My photos published in the Swindon Advertiser have raised a lot of interest amongst friends and neighbours, it has often been suggested that I should put them on a website so here they are and I hope you like them.
